About this Workshop:

In this course students will work with 3D digital scan data to generate a garment that could be fabricated using cutting edge computer controlled manufacturing methodologies, including laser cutting and 3D printing. Students will be introduced to the limitations and advantages of these types of production and design methodologies. Students will have the opportunity to produce in class a prototype of a digitally fabricated textile using one of these production technologies.
